Vaish Girls College, Samalkha stands as a monument to the visionary leaders of the Vaish Education Society who recognized the transformative power of women's education. What began as a small institution with just a handful of students in 1972 has grown into one of the most respected colleges in the Panipat district.
Vaish Girls College was established by the Vaish Education Society with a handful of students and a noble vision to educate women of Samalkha and surrounding villages. The college started with B.A. classes in a modest building.
The first batch of students graduated, marking the beginning of a proud tradition. Many of these graduates went on to become teachers, government employees, and community leaders.
The college received permanent affiliation from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, marking a significant milestone in its academic journey. B.Com and additional B.A. subjects were introduced.
Introduction of B.Sc programs with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. New science laboratories were built to support practical education in the sciences.
Major expansion including new classroom blocks, an auditorium, sports grounds, and upgraded library facilities. Student enrollment crossed 1,000 for the first time.
Grand celebration of 25 years with alumni meets, cultural programs, and recognition of outstanding achievers. The college launched its first scholarship program.
Establishment of modern computer laboratories and introduction of BCA and PGDCA courses. The college embraced technology in education for the new millennium.
Launch of M.A. programs in Hindi and English. The college also started vocational training courses to enhance students' employability.
The college received NAAC accreditation, affirming its commitment to quality education. Smart classrooms and Wi-Fi facilities were introduced across campus.
Grand celebration of 50 years of educational excellence. Over 15,000 alumni came together. New digital classrooms and an upgraded library were inaugurated.
